Delete Your Account

How to request deletion of your LoopShift account and associated data.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

The fastest way to delete your LoopShift account is from the app itself:

  1. Open LoopShift on your device.
  2. Go to the Profile tab (bottom right).
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the prompt. Your account and all server-side data are deleted immediately and irreversibly.

Option 2 — Email request

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address associated with your LoopShift account:

[email protected] with the subject line “Delete my LoopShift account”. We process deletion requests within 7 business days.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

  • Your Supabase authentication record (email, password hash, user ID).
  • Your subscription and billing record on our servers (the underlying purchase record at Google Play / Apple is governed by their policies — see below).
  • All group memberships, group habits you created, and group scores.
  • Your timeline events (habit completions, urge logs, milestones) shared in groups.
  • Your reactions and comments on group activity.
  • Photos you uploaded to group habit logs.
  • Diagnostic and crash logs associated with your user ID.

What stays on your device

LoopShift is offline-first. Your personal habit data — habit names, cues, slip-recovery notes, daily check-ins, and all logs for habits not shared in a group — is stored locally on your device and never sent to our servers. To remove this data, uninstall the app or use the Profile → Reset all data option inside the app.

What we retain

We retain anonymized, aggregate operational logs (with no personal identifiers) for up to 90 days for security and abuse prevention. After that period these logs are automatically purged.

Subscription receipts may be retained by Google Play or Apple under their respective policies, independent of LoopShift. To manage or cancel your subscription, see your store account settings:

  • Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → LoopShift.
  • iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → LoopShift.
